CITY OF BELVIDERE GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCES OPERATIONAL CHANGES AT CITY HALL IN LIGHT OF COVID-19 OUTBREAK

The City of Belvidere - City Hall is modifying operations in light of the concerns related to COVID-19. Effective immediately City Hall at 401 WHITNEY BLVD., BELVIDERE, IL 61008 IS CLOSED to the general public until further notice.

City Hall will remain open with all employees fulfilling their duties. Constituents with urgent business with the City may make an appointment to meet with relevant City officials. Water bills may be paid online, through the mail or utilization of our bill drop box located in front of City Hall. City Hall will be open during City Council and Committee of the Whole meetings in compliance with the Open Meetings Act.

Public Works will not shut off any water connection for non-payment during this COVID-19 outbreak.
